In this section we will gather the documentation sets you’ll need for the procedures of your interest. Be sure that all the documents are translated into Spanish and legalized to be used in the country, this can be through an apostille of the document, a sworn translation or the legalization by the Consulate of Spain. Likewise, the originals of all the documentation must be provided before the signing of the deed of sale.

Request of the NIE number
- Completed application
- Payment of the fee with bank confirmation
- Original and photocopy of the identification document (passport or others)
- A power of attorney is required in case of representation
Opening of the bank account in a Spanish bank
- Foreigner identification number (NIE)
- Valid identification document (passport)
- Proof of purchase or reservation of a property for its acquisition (could be requested by the bank)
- Accreditation of the capital sources
Mortgage formalization
- Extract of the bank movements of the last 12 months
- Income tax return for the last 2 years
- Work contract
- Certification of property free of mortgage
- Employment certificate indicating the position held, as well as the salary
- Personal credit file
- Other documents that prove sources of income external to the main activity (can be requested for mortgages of more than 500,000 euros)
